Is there a limit on how many contacts I can have?

No, we don’t limit how many lists or contacts you can have.

What number can I use for texting?

You can choose a toll-free number or local number that’s capable of sending texts to large groups or having two-way conversations. This number is all yours! You won’t share it with anyone. 

Need a dedicated short code? We can help you provision one. Dedicated short codes begin at $1,100/month.

Fees & Credits:

How many credits do I need?

SMS messages are 1 credit each. For example, to send 1 SMS message to 500 contacts 4 times a month, you would need 2,000 credits for that month. MMS messages are 3 credits each, so you would need 6,000 credits for the same volume and frequency.

Do message credits roll over?

Remaining plan credits roll over until the end of the following month (does not apply to annual plans). 

How can I upgrade my account or add credits?

Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or make changes at any time from the Billing page in your account.

Do I get charged for incoming messages?

All incoming SMS messages are free! Incoming messages with photos or other media attached (MMS) cost 1 credit each.

The below are the standard fees charged for 10DLC registration.

Brand registration application fee $4

Campaign registration application fee $15 per Campaign (manual vetting fee)

Monthly cost

$2–10/month per Campaign, depending on Use Case.

Campaign fees are billed for three months initially, then subsequently on a monthly recurring basis.

NOTE: DO NOT declare a false Use Case to achieve lower charges or higher throughput. Carriers and intermediaries inspect Campaigns and traffic and charge hefty fines for non-compliance including false declarations.

 Most cellular carriers charge a small additional per-message fee to send texts on their networks. These fees vary based on the type of number you’re sending from, what country you’re sending in, and whether a message is an SMS or MMS message. We pass these fees through to you at no additional markup. 

Because you send to many different carriers without even knowing, and each carrier's fee is slightly different, we use a blended model for charging these fees. This model keeps the fee structure simple and allows you to calculate your fees without having to account for each individual carrier.

We charge in arrears for carrier fees. Your initial payment won't have fees associated with it as you haven’t sent any messages yet. Before your renewal, we’ll look back at the number of messages you sent during your period, and use the table to calculate your carrier fees.  

For example, if your account uses a toll-free number and your plan gives you 500 messages and you send 400 SMS, your total carrier fees would be $1. (400 SMS X $.0025 = $1)
